UpScore IELTS is an online IELTS preparation platform operated by Bigyan Kandel, a CELTA-certified IELTS trainer based in Nepal. Our platform is available at app.upscoreielts.com.
Information we collect
When you create an account, we collect:
- Full name and email address — to identify your account and communicate with you.
- Phone number — to contact you via WhatsApp for plan upgrades and support.
- Password — stored securely via Supabase's encrypted authentication system. We never see your plain-text password.
- Test results and practice data — your scores, answers, and progress records, used to show you your performance history.
How we use your information
- To provide and maintain your account and access to tests.
- To contact you about your account status, plan upgrades, or speaking session scheduling.
- To improve the platform based on usage patterns.
- We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
- We do not use your data for advertising.
Data storage
Your data is stored securely on Supabase (hosted on AWS infrastructure). We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Access to your data is restricted to the platform administrator only.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies required for authentication (keeping you logged in). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.
